Certification in Healthcare Materiel Management Concepts (CHMMC) trains materiel management professionals in strategic planning, budgeting, purchasing, supplier certification, waste control, training and storage. The following must be completed to obtain Certification in Healthcare Materiel Management Concepts (CHMMC) status:

1. Successful completion of Purdue University/IAHCSMM Correspondence Course Healthcare Materiel Management.

2. Pass examination for Certification in Healthcare Materiel Management Concepts with a grade of 70% or better, or

3. Take the IAHCSMM Challenge: Successfully complete the Challenge Exam; if you pass the Challenge with a grade of 70% or better, you will receive the highly valued CHMMC designation along with the certificate endorsed by IAHCSMM and Purdue University.
