In response
to IAHCSMM Discussion Forum postings, IAHCSMM President Elect Don
Gordon addresses the status of the proposed Joint Meeting between
IAHCSMM and ASHCSP.
Here are the facts of the attempt to set up a Joint Meeting of IAHCSMM and ASHCSP:
Both associations together formed a committee to have a Joint Annual Meeting for 2006. Several conference calls were held and a deadline date was decided upon for final approval. When the final conference call was held to obtain the "go ahead" approval, IAHCSMM indicated their approval; ASHCSP could not obtain approval for this concept.
IAHCSMM has since obtained low cost hotel accomodations for attendees at our Annual Meeting in 2006 at the Stardust Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
