Turn Over

I was wondering if anyone knew what the standard was for turning sets over. Should all sets used in one day be turned over within 24hs? Is there even a standard?

I wouldn't think there will be one standard.
Each facility should have their own individual policy standards according to the daily number and type of procedures, number of ORs, instrument inventory, etc.
In our hospital, not having a 24/7 SP department, we need to be aware of the next day surgery schedule and prioritize todays processing so the sets needed tomorrow will be ready.
For instance, today we had 12 arthroscopy scheduled today and 10 sets on hand. The first two sets sent to decontam had to be priority processed through the wash, assembly and into the autoclave to be ready for the last two procedures.
