Steam Idicator in pouches

Just had a sales rep tell us that even though there is an external indicator on the pouches, we still need to be putting an indicator strip inside as well. True or false?

We always do. AAMI ST79 Section 10, paragraph 5.2.2.2 says, "An internal CI shold be used within each package, tray, or rigid sterilization container system to be sterilized."

Do you still need to put a indicator in the pouch if you are using instrument tip protectors that have an indicator on them?.

If it is an approved indicator, I don't think it would matter what it looks like. I've never heard of tip protectors with indicators on them. Where do you get them?
