processing paper

I have a doctor that wants to use cigarette paper to make a small plug/bandage to place on the ear drum to plug a small hole. None of us here have heard of this.

The main problem we have is how to properly sterilize the paper for use.

Any help would be appreciated.

you cant sterilize anything without the manufacture written instructions as to the proper perameters to get a sterile prouduct.
