Our facility made a small room dedicated to endoscope reporcessing. One thing that was not considered at the time of renovations was the necessity of suctioning detergent/rinse water through the scopes. I've looked on different web sites and either I find it's a patient care type or a huge floor model. Is there a suction machine/company that someone might know and can direct me towards to get some information.
We primarily clean bronchoscopes and gastroscopes, not more than 12 procedures a week. The investment I was quoted to run a line from another area of the hospital was $8000 to $10,000. I'm hoping I can find a portable unit a tad most cost-effective. We use an "EndoFlush" for our gastroscopes but there is still a step that cannot be done without suction. Any help would be appreciated. CT
