I've had a situation where our cidex pan on occassion will have some beads of water between the sequential wrap. This happens when it is not placed correctly on the rack. The remaining items are checked and found to be dry with no signs of excess moisture, inside or out. The peel packs are dry with no sign of excess moisture.
My question would this constitute a "wet pack" and therefore the entire load is considered compromised.
I have solved the issue of compromised loads by running the cidex pan in our smaller gravity unit by itself and drilling weep holes in the rim to all for excess water drainage. Seem to be working.
I am in the process of writing a policy/procedure for wet pack and where does a situation like this fall.
