Sterilization of a Bone Flap

Hi,Just wondering if anyone else has had to flash sterilize a bone flap for Neuro Surgery.The Procedure we followed was:

NURSES UNDER ASEPTIC TECHNIQUE
-prepares a large bowl
-places bone flap in bowl
-pours 10-20ml sterile normal saline in bowl
-places bowl in flash pan
-uses second flash pan to put Biological Indicator in it
-steam sterilize(Flash) at 270 F for 20 mins

If anyone else had to do this let me know if this is the procedure you followed
