Information on methods used for tracking of equipment cleaned, is it documented who cleaned it, when issued, to whom, when returned to department after use. What method is used.
At the point of use, ( patient bedside) is there some identifier as to date cleaned and when and to whom issued. I do not want to institute another log book.
Currently we already have log books for everything. Too much room for error when busy, when unit closed and equipment picked up, logs not filled in properly and other random problems. Am looking for some type of device that would answer questions of tracking listed above.
