Flash chemical indicator

I am wondering if it is really necessary for us to use flash indicator strips for our "flash" items as opposed to a regular indicator strip that we use in our pouches/packs. Thank you so much!

Items subjected to "flash sterilization" are intended for immediate use, therefore the margin of error is very small. I would suggest using an integrating indicator (Class 5) since they provide more information about the sterilization process then do single parameter indicators. Remember that the placement of these is also very important. They should be placed in an area that is least accessible to steam penetration.

I was under the impression that the class 5 was not reccomended for "flash" cycle. That you have to use the biological?
