Can some one tell me how to tell if an item is to be FLASHED on a pre vac or gravity cycle when manufactuers only state instructions as " Flash @ 132 for 6 mins"? TY

If you have any questions regarding the manufacturer's instructions, you should alway contact the manufacturer for clarification.

A Flash cycle is intended only for immediate use or to prevent cross infection.
Clean and washed instrument(s), non wrapped, should be placed in such a way that teire surface is exposed to steam. A Gravity cycle, in which the air removal stage consist of purging air during steam introduction is adequate. 3 minutes of exposure to steam and pressure discharge.
