Could you be more specific as to what staffing patterns you are asking about.
Every hospital is different depending on size, types of surgical cases performed, number of staff/managers, case carts vs. no case carts, etc.

I am interested in any tools used for staffing patterns in a single department that performs 22,000 cases a year from simple bmts to MRI guided imagery.
At the present I am trying to determine if there is a national standard or ratio for FTE's to case load determination out at the present. Does ISHCSMM have a accepted stand on this. If so, is it published and where.
