I would like to have it at another resort like was done in Cancun. I thought it was nice also you prepaid and all drinks and food was covered. By the time you went, your hotel and so forth were already paid. I actually paid myself that time .

I would love to see us take a meeting to the Northwest; Seattle would be an ideal location I believe.

I think Seattle or Phoenix would be great. I think it depends on what is around the location and how easy is it to get to different places in the area.

Very good suggestion; we have often had attendance from our Canadian friends, about time we visit them! I'm all for Toronto etc...

There's lots of attractions and things to do. Plus our food (bar-b-que and steaks) are awesome!

Also you'll find several hospitals that would benefit greatly from a meeting held here because they know so little about IAHCSMM and the wonderful things ya'll do!

What exactly is the criteria in choosing a location for these meetings and who decides on where the location will be? I would like to recommend Houston, Tx. I think this city has gotten the reputation to hold large events such as the Superbowl, NBA All-star games, Baseball All-star games, Houston livestock show & Rodeo and etc...There are many places of interest for all people and many medical facilities that support IAHCSMM. Also, Houston is well known for it's abundance in eateries. Houston has come along way and this will be one more added event to boost the moral of the city. We have many stadiums and halls to choose from to hold the event. Please, Mr. Gordon, consider Houston, Tx as a possible sight for a future IAHCSMM meeting.

IAHCSMM reviews all meeting assessment forms and part of this evaluation involves where our attendees would like to have future meetings. There is also a survey on the website (under meetings) where participants can choose where they would like to see future meetings.

The costs for hotel rooms, cost of food in the area and exhibitor space is also a strong consideration. Accesibility of the location is considered. The Annual Meeting is held in different regions to allow attendees from different parts of the country attend the meetings.
