Certification

I am having some difficulties finding a position as a CS Technician in Toronto due to too few positions for so many applicants. I would like to write the Certification exams in October but I need the on-the-job experience to acquire the hours required. Any ideas?

My suggestion would be to try and find a hospital that would allow you to volunteer in the CS department. Not only will you achieve the hours required, you will be showing the director your dedication in achieving your goals in CS.

We had two people who did this in my hospital and that really impressed me as a director. Both were hired when positions became available.
