Sterile Processing Tech

Iam trying to get my certification done for SPD Tech. I have the
book ,workbook. I am having a hard time trying to keep focus and with remembering some of it. Any adice to help me get more into , so that i can get the big prgress test done and then the final test. Any ideas to help me study better, Its been awhile since been in scholl plus I have truble with remembering what I read.


Any advice or help in apprecated.

Hi Mary,

I have always found that studying with another person or group is helpful in the "study process."

Is there anyone else you know who is studying for the course.
Or perhaps you can convince someone in your hospital to take the course.
In fact, IAHCSMM is running a special on packages for the textbook, workbook, membership and certification tests for all programs including the Technical Training Program up until August 31, 2005.

Thank you for replying. Is there any online classes for the certification class to help. I have the book, work book and quizes I bought all the begiining of the year.

No one else is doing it right now, but I would like to get my done. I just need help and someone to motivate me.

Purdue provides an online course with a mentor that you can e-mail questions and discuss the course.
There are also chat sessions scheduled with the online course.
