Just an observation here. There are some good questions and feedback in this area of the forum, but there is one thing missing. I do not see any AAMI standards listed. There is alot of good advise, but no help when it comes to a specific policy name or number. If someone needed information on a specific standard to perhaps develop a policy, it would be benificial to be able to quote a standard as opposed to "Because somebody said so in the IAHCSMM Forum".

There is a forum on AAMI on the forum..."What is the AAMI Standard?"

It was very active on the old forum and I suppose it might take a short time before people become accustomed to the changes on the new "Discussion Forum" and start posting again.

However, if you have a specific AAMI standard question that is not being answered, e-mail IAHCSMM's AAMI Liasions - Anne Cofeill or Sue Klacik and they can answer your question directly.
