We use Sterilemed for reprocessing.

You can also use Medisiss or Alliance corporation to resterilize single unused devices.

There are not government regulation on open but unused. Most people will not reprocess anything for safety reasons. This is why you are getting information on 3rd party reprocessors.
If your OR is asking you to reprocess just tell them it is not safe because you have no idea what the original parameters or method of sterilization is and one lawsuit out weights whatever cost they think they are saving.
