I have no ties to this company. They are called Zimmer out of PA. They go nation wide.

They do a great job.
They have been at the IAHCSMM meetings. i am sure headquarters has a number for them.

Check them out.

We use (SRS) Sterilizer Refurbishing Service Inc. They are also caller Mr. Grungy. On the web it's www.mrgrungy.com

They are very easy to work with and have provided us with exceptional service. They are absolutely willing to work around your schedule and have very fair pricing. We actually have them scheduled to come to our facility 2 times a year.

I hope this helps. ;)

The manufacturers are using chemical cleaning now. I tried it once and find it unsatisfactory. They do this now because of accidents using sandblasting. Sandblasting makes the autoclaves look like new. Zimmer in PA, bought all the equipment from Steris and they do sandblasting. I will be using them this fall to do my sterilizers. I have heard they do a good job.

The next question for those that have this done is how often to you have this done?

I have used Zimmer out of PA they did a wonderful job. If you have new machines as listed in the manual if you maintain a cleaning schedule weekly your machine should not need to be redone by a professional company for some years. The process they use can only be done a certain number of times before it can not be done again. So check that out with company that made your machine. ;)
