Ok, here goes. We have two very old washer that we use just to wash containers. The cycle time is 3mins exposure time and 3mins dry time. We have one machine that has been red tagged by our Bio-med guys, leaving us with one washer. This as you can tell causes a major back-up. My question is can I reduce the times by one minute with out it being an issue? The exposure temp is 135c. Thanks for your assistance in this matter.
Stuck with One washer.

I don't see why you couldn't. We often hand wash our rigid containers to save time. Especially for items that we are going to be running in the ETO sterilizer.

We run our rigid containers and lids through our cart washer. We have three, 3 tiered carts that we place them on and this works well. We tried the hand washing and that just caused alot of extral work for the decon people and ended up not being very economical.
